THE DUMP: Episode Review – Love, Death + Robots

The Dump was arguably one of the weaker episodes in the anthology. Though it does have some good, detailed animation, it does have a relatively weaker plot in the series.

The story is about a man who lives in ‘the dump,’ Ugly Dave, who has to leave his home due to certain ‘cleanliness laws.’ From there, the story then shifts to a flashback, with Dave narrating his experience of how he met his ‘pet’ named Otto.

The story is largely slower paced and lacking in substance. The music choice isn’t bad and the animation do a little to keep the audience entertained. But to me, this episode probably served as a filler in between the other episodes.
